Wayne Colbert, is a native of Louisville Kentucky, born to the late Dr. Herman Colbert and Mary Colbert. He received his education in the Jefferson County Public Schools and continued it at Simmons Bible College, Boyce Bible College. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology at Omega Bible Institute & Seminary, and a Master of Theology from Campbellsville University.

Rev. H. W. Colbert, is married to the former Kimberly L. Morris. To this union they have four lovely children and twelve grandchildren. Rev. H. W. Colbert, is a dedicated family man who make room for quality time with them all.

Rev. H. Wayne Colbert is the 2nd generation pastor, who serves as Senior Pastor and leader of the Kingdom Land Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Rev. H. W. Colbert answered the call to lead and feed God’s people according to the Word of God.

Rev. H. W. Colbert, has served as pastor of Kingdom Land Baptist Church for 31 years.  Kingdom Land is a 21st century church, known for “Embracing the Spirit of God, Where Love is Felt and Lives are Changed.” The Kingdom Land Baptist Church has experience enormous spiritual growth under his pastorate and has implemented a variety of ministries for the community. Kingdom Land’s main ministries are: equipping the saints for evangelistic outreach to the unsaved, praying fervently, discipleship training, and preaching of the Gospel.

Rev. H. W. Colbert is a visionary “Man of God,” who has a love for people and a servant’s heart for the kingdom work God has given him. He is led by the Holy Spirit. He also has the awesome task of bringing the lost to Jesus Christ and ministering to their needs. Pastor Colbert and the Kingdom Land Baptist Church is spreading the Gospel message by performing practical components of ministry work of the church, such as: as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and helping the poor in the community. Rev. H. W. Colbert is revitalizing communities by building better families through practical education.

Kingdom Land, under Rev. H. W. Colbert’s leadership, has had the opportunity to minister directly with the homeless and newly released women from prison who are without stable home placement. The church opened The Women of Worth [W.O.W.] House, Inc. The W.O.W. HOUSE ministers to homeless women exclusively in the community and on parole, who are referred by the Probation and Parole Office and/or Kentucky Institute for Women. We provide them with six months to a year of free housing to allow them time to gain the necessary tools needed to sustain a better quality of life on their own. Rev. H. W. Colbert is a powerful and wise voice that works with Judges and the Probation and Parole Office to advocate on behalf of youth and young adults who have experience encounters with the law.

Rev. H. W. Colbert is a man of integrity, passion and compassion who consistently strives to be ready for life’s seasons. His life is seen by many as one driven by the Word and Will of God, with the love and Spirit of God toward all mankind. He offers his untiring time, unselfish love, unwavering faith and relentless efforts in sharing the rawness and truth of God’s Holy Word to a lost world with a vision of hope for life, family, community and the world.
